today it's raining ...work was canceled because of the floods, and i'm sitting in bed enjoying every minute of it.

time of the season

across the street from my house there is this lovely little open space of grass, trees and a old white painted church....i randomly decided to try and take some outfit photos while i was packing my purse, lunch and some other stuff into my car before work the other day, the weather was so nice i think it was about 70 degrees outside for the most part of the day, the only unfortunate thing was that the sun was so bright at the time i took these that i could barely keep my eyes open in most of the shots(hints the weird facial expression, sorry) anyways. I've been working so much lately it seems i don't even have time to watch my netflix movies, but i promise I'll do my very best to keep up with the blog. It's one of my goals for these new year to give it a bit of a make over and maybe save up some money for a better camera ( all of my outfit photos are shot with my small point and shoot canon camera)

oh and this little blazer is my favorite thing in my closet and only cost me a dollar, yes for thrift stores!

a day off attire

 today's weather is just beautiful i'd tell ya! i'm curretly sitting outside at blogging at antidote and enjoying every single minute of this amazing weather.

i hope every one had a great christmas day, mine was pretty good i went to my grandparents house and enjoyed a yummy feast of all kinds of good food and of course pie, i also got to spend some time with my family so it was really nice. today is my day off work so i'm spending it blogging and catching up on reading blogs/doing some creative stuff and driving over to my aunt's house later to pick up some knitting supplies iv'e been meaning to get for the past few weeks. i've been feeling a little uninspired lately with my clothing choices, all i want to wear are leggings and some sort of big t-shirt forever it seems, let's hope this changes soon? i just can't help it though, it's so darn easy to wear ah!

here's some pictures i took just now, i'm so lazy with taking pictures but i find once i get out of the house i really enjoy it! anyways, i took all of these with my tripod, cars passing by and all.. i was a little shy at first i mean what if somebody honked? oh gosh haha. well no one honked and no one passed by really... so after the first few photos i felt more comfortable with this whole "taking pictures with a tripod in public thing"

hello hello!

I just moved into a new little 500 square ft apartment in the heights, i really love the heights and all the family owned restaurants and shops it has plus not to mention the best vintage clothing stores in Houston.. anyways! i want to finish decorating my place before posting pictures, so for now i'll post tid bits of what it looks like so far...the photo above is of my kitchen window, i bought the cactus's at this little feed store and the owls are some from my collection. 

i would write more but for some reason i've been feeling really down and out of it all day long, even after sleeping in, having a latte and looking at antiques and vintage clothing for an hour or so. ugh why oh why? bleh
